About the Role

As a Manager – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Financial Institutions Practice Area, you will provide U.S. wealth management industry expertise and insights to regional and global Asset & Wealth Management clients. You will collaborate with case and proposal teams to develop expert advisory backed by comprehensive analyses, serving as a thought partner and content expert. You will also drive the development of intellectual property and knowledge assets, contribute to commercialization efforts, and potentially line manage junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and partner in a growing global team, providing U.S. wealth management industry expertise and insights to regional and global Asset & Wealth Management clients.
  • Work with case and proposal teams to develop and provide expert advisory backed by comprehensive analyses.
  • Serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex business issues.
  • Drive development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support the wealth management business.
  • Serve as an active contributor to commercialization efforts for the Asset & Wealth Management sector within the Financial Institutions Practice Area.
  • Work with business leaders to drive proposals & go-to-market efforts.
  • Line manage junior colleagues, taking responsibility for their goal setting, ongoing feedback and career development support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years as management consultant with focus on the U.S. wealth management industry required.
  • Candidates who served as in-house strategy consultant embedded within a wealth management firm preferred.
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 6+ years of experience at wealth management firms required.
  • Candidates with direct exposure to corporate/business strategy viewed as a differentiator.
  • Familiarity with asset/investment management beneficial.
  • Bachelor's Degree with strong academic achievements required (advanced degree preferred).
  • Strong business acumen, superior analytical & problem-solving skills, and conceptual framing capabilities.
  • Exceptional PowerPoint & Excel skills and aptitude for leveraging and rapidly developing proficiency with AI-powered tools.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment.

  • $136,600.00 - $142,500.00
  • Bonus of up to 16%
  • Retirement contribution starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years
