About the Role

As an intern, you will gain practical experience through various projects, acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed, and support ABB’s operations while enhancing personal education and employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for customers, managing inquiries and supporting orders from receipt through fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order execution.
  • Monitor order status, communicate updates, and proactively address issues to deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Support demand, inventory, and fulfillment planning activities to help meet customer and business objectives.
  • Analyze order and operational data to identify trends, improve processes, and support decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service levels, operational efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field at an accredited U.S. institution.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
