Responsibilities
- Oversee and support program-wide case management databases, including AWARDS, DHS CARES, and MTA Homeless Database.
- Serve as a program liaison for various client databases.
- Assist with data quality assurance processes.
- Develop and distribute targeted materials to staff covering basic training, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular introductory trainings for new program staff and ongoing specialized trainings for AWARDS and CARES.
- Facilitate technical assistance for database users.
- Customize database functionalities to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with the preparation of program reports comparing key data from the case management database to internal monthly reports.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail, accuracy, and pacing.
- Superior computer literacy skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Power Point).
- Ability to learn new computer applications with ease.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in issues relating to homelessness, mental health, and/or substance abuse.
- Work requires continual attention to detail in managing data, processing information, and establishing priorities.
