About the Role
Cohere is seeking an Executive Producer, Executive Communications to own and evolve the company's narrative globally. This role will utilize video as the primary medium to share executive voices and stories, supporting Cohere's growth as a leader in sovereign AI. You will partner with C-Suite and VP executives to shape how the company communicates with customers, partners, and employees, translating Cohere's narrative into compelling content.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute Cohere's strategic narrative across Executive Thought Leadership, Policy Storytelling, and Corporate Storytelling.
- Partner with the VP Global Communications on narrative architecture and content strategy.
- Conduct audit and gap analyses across Cohere's senior voices.
- Develop content playbooks for key inflection moments.
- Partner with Marketing to create content for company accounts.
- Establish the production function, including stage capture systems and freelance crew networks.
- Build AI-enabled workflows using Cohere's products for content pipelines and executive prep.
- Initiate executive stage content capture and distribution at major events.
- Refine and systematize content production workflows.
- Develop flagship thought leadership pieces and corporate storytelling output.
- Scale successful content surfaces based on impact analysis and team capacity.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience building executive and corporate narratives from ideation through execution.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech or AI environment.
- Adept at creating production workflows from scratch.
- Experience in the high-paced broadcast television environment.
- Experience building trust and rapport with executives and senior leaders.
- Scrappy, with a "outside the box" approach to problem-solving.
- Highly organized and process-driven with strong project management skills.
- High levels of creativity in communications, format, channel, and storytelling.
- Comfortable navigating organizational dynamics and building strong relationships.
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and know how to ruthlessly prioritize.
- Experience in strategic communications, content production, and executive storytelling.
- Ability to build scalable systems and leverage AI tools.
- Comfortable navigating executive relationships and managing production workflows.
- Ability to adapt content strategies based on performance data.
- Familiarity with Cohere's product suite is valuable.
