About the Role

The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes for mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems. This role offers an opportunity to develop your engineering career at JLL.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned tasks including painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work, and general maintenance.
Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete tenant service requests.
Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks.
Support on-call or emergency response situations.
Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls.
Comply with all safety procedures.
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
Undertake other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
Trade school education, union training, military service, or college degree.
Universal CFC EPA certification.
Certificate of Fitness Q-01/Q-99 (Refrigerating System Operating Engineer), A-35 (Operate and Maintain Air Compressors), P-98 (Fuel Oil Piping and Storage System), and S-12, S-13, S-14 (Sprinkler and Standpipe Systems).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders up to 30 feet tall.
Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or drive.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
