Responsibilities
- Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider and observe/report responses to supervisor, based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification.
- Ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
- Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the medication supply room.
- Perform medication cart audits.
- Conduct accurate counts of all medications.
Requirements
- State regulations and completion of required training/certification are necessary for medication administration.
- Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply.
- Qualified associates who have been with Brookdale for at least a year may receive up to $725 in advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, less applicable taxes and withholding.
