About the Role

Bell AI Fabric is building Canada's largest sovereign AI infrastructure platform. As a Director of Strategy, you will work at the heart of its most critical strategic, commercial, and operational priorities. You will help shape decisions that will influence the future of AI infrastructure in Canada, while ensuring these decisions translate into concrete actions and results. This is a highly visible internal consulting and execution role, offering exceptional scope and access. By collaborating directly with senior leadership, Bell AI Fabric's board of directors, governments, clients, investors, and strategic partners, you will tackle complex, unanswered questions, bring clarity to divergent perspectives, and help the organization move from discussion to decision to implementation. Your work will touch on corporate strategy, partnerships, government engagement, commercial negotiations, major business opportunities, and organizational execution. You will design the plans and governance required to deliver projects, step in at critical moments requiring enhanced leadership or problem-solving, and ensure recommendations translate into tangible outcomes. This is a unique opportunity for a strategy or consulting professional looking to help build a project of scale, learn rapidly across a broad range of issues, and make a tangible impact. Responsibilities

Act as a trusted strategic partner and an extension of the leadership team, demonstrating independent judgment, anticipating needs, and providing hands-on leadership on Bell AI Fabric's priority opportunities and issues.
Lead the structured resolution of complex problems related to growth, market positioning, business models, partnerships, major initiatives, and organizational scaling; simplify complexity to translate it into clear choices, decisions, and actions.
Rapidly master complex business, technical, operational, and stakeholder issues by targeting critical facts, aligning different perspectives, and isolating key elements.
Develop recommendations and decision-support materials for Bell AI Fabric's senior leadership and board of directors, rigorously presenting clear options, trade-offs, risks, and action plans through compelling storytelling.
Evaluate and advance strategic partnerships, business opportunities, government initiatives, major client projects, and other priorities supporting long-term growth.
Translate strategy into actionable work plans that clearly define expected outcomes, interdependencies, milestones, owners, decision points, and escalation processes.
Drive large, complex cross-functional projects from initial definition through implementation, decision-making, and closure; track progress, remove roadblocks, and maintain momentum until work is completed.
Identify and address gaps in processes, decision rights, governance, and operational cadence to improve execution, accountability, transparency, and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

Typically 8-12 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, infrastructure strategy, business development, transactions, or another environment that develops comparable strategic and execution skills.
Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, quickly understand complex issues, distinguish the critical from the non-critical, and translate analyses into practical recommendations and actions.
Excellent presentation and executive communication skills, and proficiency in PowerPoint, with the ability to design accurate and compelling materials for Bell AI Fabric's senior leadership and board of directors.
Experience developing and managing work plans for large, complex cross-functional initiatives, with rigorous governance, proactive problem-solving, and end-to-end ownership through final delivery.
High attention to quality and detail, with the ability to align analyses, narratives, decisions, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
Strong business judgment and negotiation skills, with the perseverance to drive agreements, decisions, and ongoing projects to completion.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to coach, align, and mobilize senior stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority.
High work capacity and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple urgent priorities concurrently, maintain pace, and optimize the quality and completeness of work.
Ability to work with increasing autonomy, anticipate needs, take ownership of complex files, and invest the effort required to absorb information and generate results.
