About the Role

Associates on the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure Investment Banking team support deal execution and client communication for M&A mandates and private capital raises. Responsibilities include building and reviewing financial models, valuation analyses, and providing guidance to Analysts.

Responsibilities

Support all aspects of deal execution and client communication across sellside and buyside M&A mandates and private capital raises.
Build and review CIMs, MPs, financial models, and valuation analyses.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Analysts in the compilation of materials.
Support new business development, due diligence, and transaction execution.
Draft internal and external documents and marketing materials.
Perform modeling, due diligence, and execute transactions.
Work with clients, attorneys, investors, interested parties, and senior professionals.
Coach and mentor Analysts or Interns.
Build cross-functional relationships within CIB.
Provide client relationship management and investment banking services including strategic advisory services.
Generate a balanced mix of M&A, debt and equity capital raising.
Position the bank's treasury and payment solutions product suite, as well as floating rate and F/X, private wealth, insurance and other services.
Serve the bank's corporate banking and commercial clients with strategic advisory and traditional investment banking services in partnership with coverage professionals.

Requirements

BA/BS degree
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
Strong knowledge of investment banking, market, industry sector, and/or financial products
Mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Advanced skills in written and oral communications, and interpersonal relationship management
Solid analytical and sales skills
