About the Role
The Data & Student Support Manager at Kingsbridge Elementary School is the main contact for special populations compliance, ensuring students receive necessary services and support. This role partners with the Assistant Principal to coordinate student support, assist families, strengthen systems, and drive successful outcomes for all learners.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an in-house expert on data platforms, assessment tools, and reporting systems.
- Manage and maintain data platforms, including setup, syncing, cleaning, updating, and monitoring.
- Create and maintain rosters, trackers, templates, and schedules for accurate data collection.
- Coordinate and schedule academic assessments, accounting for student testing accommodations.
- Order, organize, and ensure accessibility of assessment materials.
- Support the School Leadership Team in reviewing, analyzing, and presenting assessment data.
- Collaborate with school leadership to train staff on data analysis protocols.
- Support survey completion and administration.
- Support with class construction and student retention panel.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance matters related to Students with Disabilities (SWD/IEP), English Language Learners (ELL/ENL), at-risk students, 504s, and Title I reading services.
- Ensure all students receive mandated services as specified in their IEPs, ENL plans, and other service agreements.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with service delivery schedules.
- Coordinate and/or facilitate professional development to support tiered intervention.
- Serve as the primary contact for external agencies, the DOE, and other reporting bodies on special populations compliance.
- Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date compliance records.
- Compile and provide relevant student data to support CST and BEARS meeting facilitators.
- Track the progress of students within each RTI tier.
- Ensure all required reporting for ENL students is submitted on time.
- Communicate the progress of all special population students to school and network leadership.
- Engage and support families in understanding special education offerings.
- Lead and monitor special populations programming.
- Monitor and support ICT programming.
- Lead professional development sessions for staff and families.
- Serve as a member of the campus instructional leadership team.
- Supervise arrival, dismissal, transitions, lunch, and/or recess as needed.
- Contribute to extended learning opportunities.
- Support network-level data reporting and SST initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison for families navigating special education, intervention, and student support services.
- Communicate the special education process to families.
- Facilitate parent workshops and identify resources related to special education.
- Review disciplinary actions involving students with disabilities.
- Facilitate manifestation determination reviews (MDRs) when required.
- Oversee functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- New York State Special Education certification required.
- 2 years of experience in data management, compliance coordination, or student services in a K–12 school setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IEP compliance requirements, ENL/ELL regulations, and RTI frameworks.
- Strong proficiency with student information systems (e.g., PowerSchool), assessment platforms (e.g., iReady), and Google Suite / Microsoft Office.
- Experience managing or maintaining compliance documentation and reporting to external agencies.
- Ability to communicate clearly with diverse constituencies.
- Completion and clearance of pre-employment fingerprinting and reference check process.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Experience collaborating across multiple school campuses.
- Familiarity with NYC DOE compliance requirements and charter school regulatory environment.
- Experience facilitating CST or similar student support team meetings.
- Experience manipulating large datasets and producing clear, actionable data reports.
- Knowledge of NYS learning standards and high-quality K–8 curriculum programs.

Salary/Compensations
- $87,000 - $92,298
- $5,000 signing bonus
