About the Role

As a Workflow Platforms Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of EDC's workflow ecosystem. This position focuses on the design and transformation of EDC's workflows, automation, and orchestration within the Customer Service Management (CSM) and other ServiceNow modules, automation platforms, and emerging AI technologies across multiple business sectors.

Responsibilities

Participate in defining and maintaining the architectural vision and roadmap for workflows, repositories, case management, and automation capabilities for ServiceNow across all operational functions.
Define standards for workflow and automation architecture.
Implement the target state architecture within ServiceNow and other automation platforms.
Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, automation, and optimization of business processes using CSM and automation platform capabilities.
Partner with other ServiceNow architects to define architectural principles, standards, governance practices, and design patterns for automation solutions, integrations, data management, security, and ServiceNow platform configuration.
Lead architecture reviews and design governance.
Develop integration, security, and data architecture models.
Evaluate capabilities in AI, intelligent automation, and workflow orchestration.
Create reusable architecture models and implementation standards.
Mentor multiple delivery teams on enterprise platform adoption.
Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate new platform features and industry trends, and provide recommendations for leveraging technology investments to achieve business outcomes.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to product teams, business analysts, developers, and vendors during solution delivery and platform lifecycle management.
Collaborate with various departments, including ServiceNow Customer Service, Legal, Operations, Risk Management, and Enterprise Architecture, to ensure seamless end-to-end business experiences and adherence to EDC's digital roadmap.

Requirements

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Technology Management, or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture technologies, platform architecture, business solution architecture, or digital transformation initiatives.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions through CSM and automation platforms.
Relevant ServiceNow certifications for the role.
Proven experience in designing workflows, case management solutions, and process automation capabilities through ServiceNow.
Excellent understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture capabilities, platform governance, workflow design, integration modeling, security, data management, and scalability.
Experience leading cross-functional business process transformation initiatives involving multiple functional units and stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business needs and translate them into practical, sustainable technology solutions.
Experience in establishing target state architectures, technology roadmaps, and architectural standards for enterprise platforms.
Experience with workflow architecture.
Experience with integration and API architectures.
Experience designing enterprise-scale automation and orchestration solutions.
Strong consulting, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence technology and business team leaders.
Experience working within Agile delivery structures and cross-functional product teams.
