About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support the construction management team within the Water Business Line. This position will begin in Summer 2027 and involves performing various assignments to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, with limited judgment required on details and preliminary selections of alternatives. The role includes working in the field on construction sites and providing general administrative and project support.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering and construction alternatives.
Working in the field on multiple construction sites.
Provide general administrative and project support to the Construction Management team.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management.
Must have completed 1 year of study.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
Relocation is not available for this position.
This position is required to be on-site.
All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
