About the Role

The Associate Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the administrative and clinical operations of Central Health. This role provides leadership in developing and implementing clinical programs and initiatives, managing key projects independently and collaboratively. The position oversees the Medical Executive Board (MEB), supervises administrative personnel, and supports the Clinical Services Department. This role collaborates with other directors on program design, implementation, and process improvement, acting as an advisor to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and oversees multiple administrative staff members within Clinical Services.
  • Ensures oversight and management of Administrative team members’ orientation, competency, and training records.
  • Provides mentorship and leadership for the Clinical Services Administrative Team.
  • Develops and manages recruitment and retention strategies for areas of responsibility.
  • Ensures staff compliance with organizational clinical goals and methods.
  • Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers.
  • Supports the Director of Operations in developing and implementing innovative programs/initiatives.
  • Supports and participates in strategic business initiatives and plans.
  • Develops goals, objectives, and financial projections for successful implementation.
  • Defines and manages overall objectives, scope, schedule, and deliverables of the MEB and its committees.
  • Oversees Central Health’s practice of medicine.
  • Manages MEB and committee activities, plans agendas, and develops meeting materials.
  • Deploys change management techniques to improve MEB and related program outcomes.
  • Creates/updates policies to comply with regulatory and governing bodies.
  • Performs other duties as needed to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of the organization.

Requirements

  • 6 years progressive leadership experience.
  • 5 years management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • 5 years experience working with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, manage, and implement larger projects in a healthcare delivery environment.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of accreditation and regulatory process and requirements.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations.
