About the Role
As a software engineer intern, you will work hand-in-hand with our team to ship features to our customers on a fast, weekly cadence. You will build full-stack products, backend services, or data pipelines to integrate with our customers' datasets, enable data scientists to assess employee risks, and build systems to generate gen-AI videos at scale. If you want to experience building and shipping real features at an early stage startup, Fable is the place for you.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship end-to-end features for our gen-AI security training platform
- Analyze security data and implement data pipelines to improve our employee behavioral profile system
- Improve gen-AI video generation system features and scale
- Iterate on customer feedback to improve our product
- Write organized and well-tested Python code
- Work with founders and mentor engineers to understand product requirements and design systems
- Validate features end-to-end in a production environment
- Understand and debug backend database schemas, data pipelines, etc.
Requirements
- 2+ internships working in a Python backend environment
- Takes pride in writing well-factored and organized code
- Solid understanding of backend API development
- Shipped projects to production in past internships
