About the Role

Humber River Health is seeking a Temporary Full-time Program Support Representative to join their Environmental Services Program. This role involves providing administrative support, managing communications, and maintaining office systems within a leading digital hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries, forwarding messages as appropriate.
  • Prepare and type correspondence, memoranda, minutes, and confidential reports.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, graphs, flow charts, and statistics.
  • Update databases as required.
  • Maintain a comprehensive filing and records management system.
  • Maintain office flow procedures, including a desk manual.
  • Perform purchasing functions for the department within established parameters.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas with background information.
  • Take and transcribe minutes, noting required actions and follow-up.
  • Order and monitor office supplies for the department to meet functional and budgetary requirements.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Completion of a certificate in Office or Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience in a large complex organization, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
