About the Role
UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is seeking Medical Technologists/Clinical Laboratory Technologists, and Senior Medical Technologists. This position performs routine and specialized tests in assigned laboratory sections, monitors lab processes, and verifies results. With six years of experience, may direct daily activities of their section in the absence of the supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine and specialized tests in assigned laboratory sections in a timely manner.
- Monitors lab processes.
- Verifies results.
- May direct daily activities of his/her section in the absence of the supervisor (with 6 years experience).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent.
- Grandfathered NYS Licensed CLT.
- One (1) year experience working in a clinical laboratory (preferred).
- ASCP Specialty Certification (preferred).
