About the Role
The Security Officer plays a key role in maintaining a safe healthcare environment by handling customer service, confrontations, issue management, and support. Responsibilities include safeguarding employees, patients, visitors, providers, and property, responding to alarms, emergency requests, de-escalation tactics, and resolving safety incidents. Security Officers may also manage agitated or aggressive patients or visitors.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or 3 years of Security Officer experience.
- One year of experience in a Security related field (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record if driving a vehicle while working, or a valid NYS ID Card.
- Must meet requirements of New York State Security Guard Licensing program and successfully pass within 3 months of hire.
