About the Role
Assist the driver with the safe management of students onboard the school bus, including assisting students, performing safety checks, leading emergency evacuations, and communicating behavior issues.
Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with the safe management of students onboard the vehicle
- Assist students as they enter and exit the vehicle
- Perform safety checks
- Lead emergency evacuations
- Communicate behavior issues with parents and management
Requirements
- Experience working with children
- Undergo pre-employment testing
- Good verbal communication skills
- At least 19 years old
- Ability to work with people in a positive manner
- Ability to manage student behavior in a non-confrontational manner
- Be subject to a background check, drug screen & physical performance test
- Ability to handle and manage vehicle and student emergencies in a calm, appropriate manner
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule
