About the Role
Axiom is seeking a Senior Litigation Counsel to support our client, a large fashion/lifestyle company. In this role, you will advise business stakeholders on litigation exposure, risk, and resolution strategy while overseeing outside counsel and managing key litigation processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage litigation across regulatory, employment and wage-and-hour, commercial, intellectual property and brand protection, privacy/TCPA, and personal injury matters.
- Partner with and oversee outside counsel, ensuring strategy, budgets, and approaches align with business priorities.
- Advise business stakeholders on litigation exposure, risk, resolution strategies, and practical risk mitigation.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, administrative submissions, settlement agreements, releases, arbitration agreements, waivers, and related documents.
- Lead litigation processes, including preservation obligations, litigation holds, eDiscovery collection, review, and production.
- Support Legal Department leadership on policy development, internal investigations, special initiatives, cross-functional projects, and relevant legal and industry developments.
Requirements
- Significant litigation experience managing a broad range of disputes.
- Experience overseeing outside counsel and managing litigation strategy and budgets.
- Experience advising business stakeholders on litigation exposure, risk, and resolution.
- Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.
