About the Role
This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, managing event details, and driving new business for the hotel. You will work with internal and external partners to ensure successful event execution and revenue maximization.
Responsibilities
- Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients.
- Respond quickly, professionally, and courteously to all inquiries.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and proactive planning.
- Maintain existing accounts and develop new business for the hotel.
- Monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details.
- Gain knowledge of hotel products, services, and function spaces.
- Collaborate with partners to forecast group rooms and F&B revenues.
- Utilize digital sales systems and sales processes to achieve goals.
- Attend customer functions as needed.
- Meet performance metrics and goals as required.
- Participate in internal meetings, conference calls, and client-facing events.
- Own career development and seek training opportunities.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous hospitality event planning and/or sales experience required.
- Experience working with clients/customers to deliver positive and satisfactory outcomes.
- Understanding of hotel operations to plan successful events/meetings.
- Strong administrative skills with knowledge of various computer systems.
