About the Role

As Augment's Marketing Analyst, you will be a hands-on generalist on a small marketing team with two clear centers of gravity: social media and paid media. You will work directly with the Marketing Manager and closely with the CMO, our Editorial Lead, our Designer, and our media and creative vendors. This role offers the opportunity to touch every part of a marketing function at a company that is scaling.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the media & ad operations liaison, supporting day-to-day communication with our media agency across Google Search, Google PMax, Meta, and Reddit.
  • Traffic creative between the design, editorial, and media teams, ensuring the right asset is briefed, produced, approved, and live.
  • Assist with updating the marketing budget and spend.
  • Maintain the creative library and naming conventions for reporting.
  • Own the generation of the monthly marketing report, gathering channel inputs, building decks, and reporting on team progress.
  • Own the weekly social report, analyzing performance by channel against goals.
  • Own the weekly competitive report and analysis.
  • Own submissions into our Compliance Review process in Asana, monitoring status, resolving change requests, and chasing approvals.
  • Act as the marketing department's point of contact with Compliance and Legal on routine reviews.
  • Keep the approval archive accurate and audit-ready.
  • Track approved claims, disclosures, and creative, and where they are cleared to run.
  • Write day-to-day copy for landing pages, ad headlines, social posts, and emails.
  • Publish and format content across Webflow, Ordinal, and Customer.io.
  • Support merchandise and print vendor cycles, including mockup rounds, proofs, sizing, sample tracking, and fulfillment.
  • Support event logistics for conferences and company events, including RSVP, check-in, and on-site coverage.
  • Support the editorial lead in managing the social media calendar across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Instagram/Meta, and YouTube, building the queue, scheduling, and keeping the team ahead.
  • Chase executives for approval, monitor comments and mentions, and own a weekly social report.
  • Coordinate short-form video production from shoot through publish.
  • Take on tasks from the Marketing Manager as you gain experience.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years in marketing (agency, in-house, or both).
  • Hands-on experience running social media for a brand.
  • Hands-on experience with or adjacent to paid media.
  • Strong writing skills and genuine attention to detail; ability to draft copy that ships without rewrite.
  • Comfort managing external vendors and holding them to deadlines.
  • A track record of owning work without daily supervision.
  • Fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry experience is a plus.
  • Direct experience in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or Reddit Ads is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Asana, Ordinal, Beehiiv, Webflow, Customer.io, Canva, Airtable is a plus.
  • Video production or editing experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of FINRA/SEC marketing rules is a plus.
  • Comfort using AI tools to move faster is a plus.
