About the Role
Shape the future of the financial industry in Assurance Financial Services Industries. You will be part of a highly qualified team supporting financial institutions in optimizing processes, minimizing risks, implementing regulatory requirements, and adhering to compliance standards to develop sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Trusted Advisor for regulatory information security, supporting clients from strategy design and processes to implementation, rollout, and operation of solutions.
- Work in an international team, potentially leading it, on projects for leading banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and other financial sector companies.
- Guide clients from strategy definition through conception to implementation of AI Security, IAM/PAM, Cloud Security, SIEM/SOC, and network security.
- Analyze regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, EU AI Act, Cyber Resilience Act) and internal client requirements to develop future-proof and technically feasible solution concepts.
- Apply experience as a Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the architecture and tool-supported integration of information security strategies into existing IT infrastructures, on-premises or in the cloud.
- Contribute to current IT security topics and collaborate closely with leading global technology providers.
- Engage with disruptive challenges such as Post-Quantum Cryptography or digital currencies to stay abreast of the latest developments in information security.
Requirements
- Experience in the design and technological implementation of business processes.
- Enthusiasm for aligning business, IT, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding and passion for IT topics, ideally Cyber Security (e.g., Sailpoint Identity Security Expert, CyberArk Defender, ISO42001 or SOC/SIEM), IT frameworks, and IT regulation.
- Structured thinking and quick comprehension to explain complex issues clearly.
- Convincing demeanor with strong communication and presentation skills to win over clients.
- Willingness to travel.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
