About the Role
Splunk Solutions Engineers are responsible for the technical elements of the sales cycle, enabling prospects and customers to understand how Splunk can meet their requirements and becoming their trusted advisor. As a Solutions Engineering Intern, you will gain Splunk skills, certifications, and develop broader domain knowledge of Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Splunk’s technology and use cases. This internship provides a detailed understanding of the Solutions Engineering role and helps you decide if a career in this field is right for you.
Responsibilities
- Delivering standardized technical product webinars
- Undertaking technical discovery calls/conversations with prospects
- Delivering consultative presentations, demonstrations, and workshops
- Owning the technical strategy for opportunities
- Determining and managing the appropriate form of Solution Validation for opportunities
- Creating custom demonstrations based on customer use-cases and/or data
- Responding to the technical elements of tenders (RFI/RFPs)
- Answering technical questions from prospects and customers
- Making general recommendations on Splunk solutions architecture
- Identifying and managing technical issues throughout the sales lifecycle
Requirements
- Fluent in one of the following: French, German, Italian
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Interest in technology and how it can be used to solve business problems
- Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
