About the Role
As a Software Engineer I on Indeed's CS & Ops team, you will contribute to the design and development of the platform our Customer Success, Trust & Safety, and Operations teams use daily. You'll write code and build integrations that shape how customer issues are routed, prioritized, and resolved across multiple brands and regions. This role offers the chance to work with modern technologies, leveraging AI assisted software development tools, while helping Indeed's support teams shift from reactive case handling to proactive, capacity-aware engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain features for a suite of shared services and tools.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver well-designed solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Learn and apply new technologies, tools, and best practices in software engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Familiarity with AWS, Java, Kotlin, and/or React.js
- Passion to learn and develop new skills continuously
