About the Role
As a Senior Manager, you will evolve and deliver on our client consulting offering. This is a key leadership position within the Americas consulting team, responsible for client delivery, project and people management, and developing our consulting value proposition. This client-facing role requires clear communication, credibility building, and the ability to simplify complex topics for clients including global insurance carriers, regional insurers, MGAs, and public sector organizations in the Americas. You will drive the commercial success of Risk Consulting & Analytics within Swiss Re's Reinsurance Solutions division.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and management consulting engagements for P&C insurance clients.
- Build and lead multi-disciplined, cross-functional project teams including consultants, insurance subject-matter experts, data scientists and analytics professionals.
- Oversee discovery, scoping, project management, analysis, and synthesis of results, as well as communication of findings and recommendations to clients.
- Act as a domain expert and primary contact for Property and Casualty consulting.
- Define and evolve the overall P&C consulting proposition, developing new value propositions aligned with client needs and market opportunities.
- Partner closely with Sales on client research, opportunity development, origination, and the sale of new consulting engagements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Swiss Re to develop new capabilities, analytical approaches, and data assets, ensuring effective positioning and communication to clients.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of consulting background and experience, with a strong strategy/management consulting focus and demonstrated experience leading client engagements.
- Experience in directly leading complex consulting engagements, managing consultants, and leading cross-functional or multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Excellent knowledge of the primary insurance market for Property and Casualty lines of business.
- Ability to synthesize complex information, data, and analysis into compelling, impactful, and practical business insights, providing executive-level narratives and recommendations.
- Confidence and experience interacting with senior management and diverse internal and external client stakeholders.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally.
