About the Role
Seneca Foods in Geneva, NY is seeking a First Shift Mechanic to join their team. The role involves the proper maintenance of production equipment, including repairs, overhauling, and daily upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of production line equipment.
- Overhaul, repair, and maintain pumps, gear boxes, conveyors, and electrical motors.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed.
- Maintain repair logs.
- Maintain proper housekeeping.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to weld.
- Capable of making quick decisions.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
