About the Role
As a bin stocker, you will be responsible for driving a Viking Electric vehicle and replenishing specific stock at customer facilities in a manufacturing environment or at customer job sites. You will also be responsible for working in the warehouse performing physical and clerical duties involved in accurately receiving, storing, picking, checking, and shipping material.
Responsibilities
- Drive a Viking Electric vehicle and replenish stock at customer facilities or job sites.
- Perform warehouse duties including receiving, storing, picking, checking, and shipping material.
- Act as the company representative during product delivery to customer locations.
- Conduct pre- and post-route vehicle inspections.
- Transport and deliver products to customers.
- Unload product at customer sites and place it in designated locations.
- Take inventory at customer sites and create orders to replenish stock based on min/max requirements.
- Communicate with sales associates to resolve issues and meet customer needs.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
- Pick and pack orders to replace stock.
- Count, check, prepare, and record received or shipped items.
- Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route materials for delivery or storage.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- At least 21 years old
- Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift packages up to 85 pounds
- Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to learn how to operate equipment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship
- 1 year of related experience and/or training
