About the Role
Support several strategic client accounts nationally, regionally, and globally, providing market intelligence and proactive advice while managing transactions such as Acquisitions, Dispositions, Sales, and Subleases. Be part of a team that strives for ongoing improvement, providing best-in-class tools, technology, and process disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the transaction process by evaluating and engaging local brokers, maintaining engagement and leadership in negotiations, and actively managing local brokers.
- Drive Strategic Advisory Services by understanding client portfolios and advocating for strategic initiatives like Workplace Strategy and Flexible Office to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Deliver Financial Acumen by demonstrating familiarity with IFRS lease accounting and the impact of negotiation strategies on client cost structures, and performing complex cost comparisons.
- Communicate proactive market intelligence by managing local brokers and gathering direct information to ensure clients receive timely market insights.
- Provide value-add lease summaries via Excel/PowerPoint for executive approvals and Estoppel review.
- Focus on high efficiency tools by leveraging the Colliers360 technology platform to increase client adoption and optimize account management.
- Advocate best practices by recommending tools, methodologies, and programs to clients and generating new ideas to add value.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Transaction Coordination for Enterprise clients (Multi-Markets) within commercial real estate.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Technology proficiency in MS Office Suite - PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Strong skills in business management, human relations, financial analysis, budgeting, relationship building, time management, planning and organizing, written and verbal communications.
- Currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis.
