- Assist the COO in maintaining a business-wide view of performance and execution, surfacing emerging issues, dependencies, capacity constraints, and opportunities.
- Lead selected COO-sponsored strategic and operational initiatives that span organizational boundaries.
- Own Chip's business-wide AI transformation program, translating ambitions into a prioritized portfolio of initiatives with clear owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Identify high-value opportunities across the business by analyzing team operations, friction points, manual work, duplicated effort, and broken workflows to determine where AI, automation, or operating model changes can create value.
- Turn opportunities into working solutions, managing them from discovery and business case through prototyping, implementation, adoption, and measurement.
- Build a clear transformation and AI value pipeline, prioritizing initiatives based on measurable business impact.
- Redesign workflows across functions and end-to-end processes to fundamentally simplify how work is done.
- Create organizational visibility using tools, data, and AI to understand team activities, capacity deployment, delivery blockers, and areas for intervention.
- Drive cross-functional execution by bringing together Product, Engineering, Operations, Data, and business teams for transformation initiatives.
- Strengthen organizational accountability by ensuring clear ownership for cross-functional initiatives, appropriate decision-making levels, and commitment translation into delivery.
- Integrate AI into Chip's operations by encouraging teams to consider AI and automation as a default in process design.
- Develop scalable operating systems and workflows using platforms like Linear to enhance transparency, prioritization, and workflow intelligence.
- Transform management information and reporting using AI to reduce manual effort, improve insight quality and timeliness, and enhance leadership understanding of business status and required actions.
- Improve the operating rhythm of the business by ensuring leadership meetings, reviews, planning, and reporting are driven by high-quality information, clear decisions, and follow-through.
- Create the measurement framework for transformation, establishing baselines and tracking initiative benefits.
- Drive adoption by working with teams and leaders to change behaviors, embed new ways of working, and ensure new capabilities are utilized.
- Bring external thinking into Chip by staying abreast of AI, agentic workflows, automation, and emerging operating models, and translating relevant developments into practical opportunities.
- Act as a constructive agitator, challenging existing processes, assumptions, and priorities to drive organizational pace.
- Provide clear visibility of progress, surface blockers and opportunities, and constructively challenge senior stakeholders when delivery is impeded.
