About the Role

We are seeking a Municipal Engineering Project Manager to join our Water Wastewater or Linear Municipal Infrastructure team, specializing in the strategy and technical execution of water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy and execution of high-value engineering solutions.
Collaborate with internal experts across environmental science, planning, and management to deliver holistic solutions.
Project manage and deliver preliminary and detailed designs for municipal and industrial infrastructure projects related to treatment facilities and pumping stations.
Coordinate design team activities and provide direction to project team members.
Liaise with public and private sector clients, government review and approval agencies, sub-consultants and subcontractors.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
Utilize AI-enabled tools to push the boundaries of traditional design.
Seek and cultivate new business opportunities aligned with sustainability goals.
Provide strategic leadership in strengthening and expanding existing client relationships.
Travel to other Dillon offices as needed to support collaboration and drive growth.
Commit to self-development and ongoing learning.
Provide input to the career development of junior staff.
Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations.

Requirements

Licensed to practice as a professional engineer or eligible to register.
Proven expertise in water wastewater, developed through 10+ years of experience in consulting or related fields, with a track record of technical leadership.
Proven project management capabilities.
Demonstrated success in client and business development with private sector accounts.
Experienced in the assessment and design of treatment processes for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Proficient in the full range of design activities including drawings, reports, contract documents, tendering, construction administration and commissioning.
Ability to lead, coach and develop Account Managers.
Thorough knowledge of relevant Canadian federal and provincial regulations.
Working knowledge of emerging technologies for water and wastewater treatment.
Proficient in project proposal preparation and presentations.
In-depth understanding of business issues associated with consulting engineering and planning.
An intense motivation for personal and professional growth.
