About the Role
Counseling In Schools (CIS) is seeking a Bilingual Spanish-speaking Master's Level Social Worker, Art Therapist or Mental Health Counselor for New York City public schools. This role focuses on promoting the emotional and social growth of children, equipping them with tools to navigate challenges and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sessions and outreach in Spanish.
- Provide clinical documentation (written and digital).
- Communicate professionally in writing and verbally.
- Manage time effectively and multitask.
- Work collaboratively in a team-based setting.
- Experience in school-based programs preferred.
- Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation preferred.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy, Social Worker, Mental Health Counseling or related Master’s Degree.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Full-time and in-person position.
- Must be willing to work in Brooklyn, NY.
