About the Role
Harrison Street is a leading investment management firm focused on alternative real assets. HSAM Europe, with over €12 billion in assets under management, combines local market expertise with global resources to invest across real estate equity, infrastructure, and private credit strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis of portfolio performance, including monthly financial reviews, budget reviews, and buy/hold/sell analysis.
- Support the preparation and monitoring of asset-level business plans and value creation initiatives.
- Assist with the evaluation and oversight of development and capital expenditure projects.
- Aid in the preparation of quarterly investor reporting materials.
- Analyze the financial impact of capital events such as dispositions, recapitalizations, and debt refinancings.
- Analyze leasing trends, competitive property sets, supply/demand data, and other market-level information.
- Assist in preparing Investment Committee memoranda for dispositions or capital calls.
- Support the maintenance of joint venture projection and asset management models.
- Collaborate with operating partners, joint venture partners, and lenders during the asset management process.
- Complete site inspections of existing and/or under-development properties, including market and competitive set analysis.
- Participate in weekly meetings to discuss portfolio and asset performance, including distressed assets, upcoming sales, loan maturities, and joint venture partner relationships.
- Perform ad hoc financial modeling projects to enhance the efficiency of investment performance reviews.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with anticipated graduation in Summer 2027 or recently graduated.
- Core knowledge of finance and accounting preferred.
- Broad-based analytical skills.
- Extensive working knowledge of Excel.
- Demonstrates a strong interest in real estate.
