Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a world-class team of virtualization developers.
- Design and implement low-level virtualization technologies for processors, memory, and devices.
- Debug hardware interfaces and optimize performance in high concurrency settings.
- Write and debug kernel-adjacent code for improved scalability.
- Analyze and optimize performance, reliability, security, and observability.
- Lead projects from the planning phase to a working product.
- Serve as the local go-to expert for other virtualization/kernel developers.
- Potential opportunity to take on a Team Leader role, based on performance and organizational needs.
Requirements
- Experience as an Architect or a Team Lead.
- Extensive experience in designing, leading and developing low-level software systems.
- At least 8 years of programming in this domain.
- At least 10 years tenure as a software engineer.
- Excellent coding skills in C and Assembly.
- Strong algorithm-design and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of modern CPU architectures (x86/ARM).
- Deep understanding of OS concepts, especially Linux.
- Experience in high-concurrency software-development environments.
- B.Sc./Eng. degree in Computer Science or a relevant field with a GPA of 85 or higher.
