About the Role

This role is for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and continuous operation of aquarium life support systems, exhibits, and building infrastructure. It is ideal for someone with a background in factory facilities or industrial settings where fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and breakdown response are key.

Responsibilities

Maintaining, servicing, and repairing various high-flow pumps and critical marine life support systems (LSS).
Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical plant equipment.
Maintaining and troubleshooting general lighting and specialized DMX lighting systems.
Performing PLC fault finding and diagnostic checks on automated control systems.
PAT Testing.
Carrying out scheduled PPM for Air Handling Units (AHUs), AC units, chillers, and extract fans.
Performing general facility repairs, including routine door repairs.
Overseeing and maintaining toilet functionality, including unblocking and minor plumbing repairs.

Requirements

Proven working history as an Engineer / Technician within a factory facilities, manufacturing, or heavy industrial background.
A proactive "can-do" attitude with experience managing heavy PPM schedules.
The ability to work effectively in a high-traffic public venue.
Possess the right health and safety awareness.
