About the Role
The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences by engaging with customers, identifying their needs, offering personalized recommendations, and promoting the store's membership program to drive sales performance. This role requires the ability to connect with customers, maintain a positive environment, and enthusiastically promote products.
Responsibilities
- Promptly greet and assist customers, acknowledging their presence immediately and efficiently managing multiple customers.
- Anticipate and fulfill customer needs by utilizing product knowledge to assess preferences, answer questions, guide them to relevant merchandise, and provide tailored recommendations.
- Utilize suggestive selling techniques while staying knowledgeable about product availability.
- Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards by keeping product displays organized and attractive.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
- Execute inventory management tasks including restocking and product organization.
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to effectively recommend and sell merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and professional store environment.
- Participate in store promotions and sales events to support overall business objectives.
- Access and organize stock in high storage areas, ensuring efficient retrieval and placement while following safety protocols.
- Work a flexible schedule supporting the business, including days, evenings, weekends, and potential overnight shifts and travel as necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Retail sales experience preferred.
