About the Role
The Dawn Club is a bar on Market Street in San Francisco offering cocktails, live jazz, and a rare whisky collection. This role involves preparing the bar, serving guests, and managing payments.
Responsibilities
- Prep, setup, and prepare the bar for daily service
- Prioritize guest orders and strive to deliver drinks promptly and efficiently
- Take and return a variety of payment types with accuracy
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing, as necessary
- Keep work relationships professional and courteous
- Demonstrate attention to details
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in busy hotel, restaurant, or nightclub
- Knowledge of various drink-building techniques and styles
- Flexible evening availability
- Able to take direction and follow through on all reasonable requests from managers
- Able to stand 8-10 hours
Skills
- Knowledge of different spirits and wines are preferred
- Demonstrate an ability to maintain strong coworker relationships
