About the Role
Morgan Properties is looking for a Service Technician to join the team at Elmwood Terrace, a 220-unit community in Rochester, NY. This role is for a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality work and ensures the community runs at its best.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuits
- Complete resident work orders and service requests on time
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspect property equipment
- Complete make-ready apartments, including repairs, trash removal, carpet cleaning, and painting
- Maintain and inspect smoke detectors and fire extinguishers
- Assist with property inspections and identify shutoff valve locations
- Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and stocked
- Respond to on-site emergencies, including snow and ice events
