About the Role
This is a new role within Energy Services, created to give Easee dedicated technical integration capability as the number and complexity of partner integrations grows. As the Integration Engineer, you will support the technical implementation, onboarding, and ongoing operation of partner integrations, acting as the technical bridge between Technical Sales Engineers, Customer Excellence, Product, and Development. This is a technical role, not a sales one, requiring strong technical curiosity, analytical thinking, and a genuine willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Providing Technical Sales Engineers with timely, effective support on integration-related questions.
- Acting as a clear escalation route for Customer Excellence on complex integration issues.
- Building a strong working knowledge of Easee's APIs, OCPP, and partner integration processes.
- Helping to define and establish self-service partner onboarding flows.
- Improving developer documentation.
- Building working relationships with key integration partners.
- Becoming the primary support contact for some key partners.
- Investigating and resolving integration issues within the team, reducing unnecessary escalation to development.
- Providing feedback on recurring issues and partner requirements to shape product and development priorities.
- Driving improvements in documentation and processes to make partner integration and onboarding faster and more consistent.
Requirements
- Technical, engineering, software, computer science, or equivalent education; relevant practical experience or demonstrable technical ability can compensate for formal qualifications.
- Some experience in a technical, software, support, engineering, or integration environment.
- A basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and JSON.
- Comfortable investigating issues where the answer isn't immediately obvious.
- Able to translate technical issues clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working across teams and with external partners.
