About the Role
ES Systems is seeking a motivated and skilled Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems across various construction and maintenance sites. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize technical skills, and contribute to community safety.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and industry codes.
- Read and interpret detailed construction drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment to assemble piping and sprinkler components.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, adhering to OSHA regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting or related construction trades with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC systems, pipeline assembly, and general maintenance practices is helpful.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Construction or Maintenance site experience with an understanding of safety procedures.
- Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- NY State Drivers License (Required)
