About the Role
Relief Licensed Veterinary Technicians will play an important part in shaping the next chapter of our combined organization and advancing our shared mission to transform veterinary care. This role will support our team by filling in open shifts, compensated at a competitive rate, and working alongside a dedicated, supportive, and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Focus on patient care, with support from veterinary assistants and remote nurse team.
- Patient Handling and Husbandry
- Client education
- Surgical/dental nursing and anesthesia management
- Detailed record keeping
- Diagnostic management
- Medication administration
- Emergency triage and response
- Work alongside veterinarians and nurses to push the boundaries of veterinary medicine and provide top-quality patient care.
- Attend monthly educational events and activities to help grow knowledge and develop career.
- Navigate new cases and realms of medicine with on-staff specialists.
- Utilize innovative technologies and new medical equipment.
- Embrace the future of AI-assisted technologies.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a veterinary technician.
- A veterinary technician certification or licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) required.
- Independent unrestricted valid authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
- Accept new employment for this position.
