About the Role
AECOM is seeking an Inspector V to serve as the key point of contact for CEI project engagements, a member of the senior leadership team, and lead audit strategy. This role requires technical expertise in field inspections and audits, providing guiding direction and setting goals for inspections on CEI projects.
Responsibilities
- Serves as technical expert in field inspections and audits.
- Recognized as the 'go-to' expert internally and externally.
- Provides guiding direction for inspections on CEI projects.
- Sets direction and goals for inspection.
- External spokesperson on technical project issues.
- Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
- Trains other inspectors.
Requirements
- HS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check in accordance with company policy.
- US citizenship is a requirement for this role.
- 15+ years of relevant TxDOT construction inspection experience.
- TxDOT Site Manager software experience.
- TxAPA Level 1A and 1B certification.
- ACI Grade 1 and strength test certification.
