About the Role
The Power Distribution Engineer I is responsible for developing cost-effective conceptual and engineering solutions to upgrade, expand, maintain, and automate overhead and underground power distribution systems. This role ensures compliance with client procedures, design standards, and regulatory requirements, working under the guidance of a Senior Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of engineering/design projects.
- Create and modify engineering/design drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct field walkdowns to gather accurate information for designs.
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving engineering issues.
- Engage in continuous learning to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Seek mentorship and guidance from senior engineers for professional development.
Requirements
- 0-1 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based programs.
