About the Role
Analysts in the Global Technology Investment Banking Group enjoy a stimulating and challenging work environment in which they execute a broad range of transactions. A high degree of responsibility is afforded to those demonstrating initiative and the desire to take on such responsibility. Given the Global Technology Investment Banking Group’s streamlined operating hierarchy and a small project team approach, Analysts have ample opportunity for career growth and development. On any given project, Analysts will interact with other departments of the firm such as Corporate Banking, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Global Fixed Income, and Global Equity Derivatives.
Responsibilities
- Supporting client pitches and deal execution efforts
- Evaluating and analyzing the financial needs of corporate clients, including the development of financial models, marketing materials and presentations
- Performing financial and written analysis of companies and industries, including the development of valuation models, pro-forma financial statements and comparable company analysis
- Sourcing data required for financial analysis
- Drafting prospectuses and marketing presentations for transactions
- Preparing client presentations
- Applying product and capital markets knowledge to help clients achieve their financial objectives
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate Degree in Business, Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Economics or Mathematics discipline or related fields to be completed between December 2026 and July 2027
- Demonstrated interest and knowledge of the financial markets
- Proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Seamless work within MS Office Suite with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
