About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Sales to build and lead our sales organization through its next stage of growth. This is a player-coach role for someone who has scaled enterprise sales teams before and still wants to be hands-on with strategic deals and customers, working directly with the founders to shape our go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale the sales organization, operating model, and enterprise playbook from scratch.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing Account Executive team.
  • Stay actively involved in strategic deals and executive relationships, including healthcare buyers.
  • Guide the team through technical evaluations, procurement, and compliance-heavy sales cycles.
  • Set the bar for prospecting, discovery, and deal execution.
  • Build a culture of accountability and urgency.
  • Develop future sales leaders.
  • Own forecasting, pipeline, territories, quotas, compensation, and CRM discipline.
  • Align with Marketing on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and pipeline generation.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering on technical evaluations.
  • Partner with Product/Engineering on customer feedback.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience hitting individual quota as an Account Executive.
  • 2+ years of sales leadership experience, managing at least 4 reps and exceeding team quota.
  • Experience selling into healthcare, or strong familiarity with healthcare interoperability concepts (FHIR, HL7, EHR/EMR, HIE, TEFCA, etc.) is a plus.
  • A track record of building a sales organization from the ground up.
  • Sufficient technical fluency to sell to engineering leaders (understanding of APIs and Data Warehouses).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Located in San Francisco or the Bay Area, or willing to relocate.
  • Willing to work onsite.
