About the Role
This engineer will own the product surface that turns agent capability into trustworthy, business-critical work, along with the services behind it. The role involves designing and building interfaces for configuring agents, reviewing their work, and ensuring observability and evaluation tooling.
Responsibilities
- Design and build interfaces for business teams to configure agents, review work, and approve/correct actions.
- Build observability and evaluation tooling to make agent behavior legible.
- Work across the full stack (React, TypeScript, service code, data models) to own features end-to-end.
- Partner with business teams to translate operational problems into software solutions.
- Own the full lifecycle of work, including monitoring and post-launch improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong frontend skills with React and TypeScript, including complex application state and data-dense interfaces.
- Solid backend engineering ability (Go, PHP, Python).
- Working knowledge of relational and non-relational data stores (Postgres, DynamoDB, or similar).
- Real product judgment to decide what to build and cut.
- Interest in problems with non-deterministic systems (uncertainty, partial failure, human correction).
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, close knowledge gaps, and deliver in an evolving environment.

Salary/Compensations
- For candidates living in San Francisco / Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, or Seattle metros, the expected total cash compensation range is $177,700.00 - $229,900.00.
- For candidates living in Austin, TX or Washington DC metros or in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington states, total cash compensation range is $159,800.00 - $206,800.00.
- For candidates living in all other US locations, total cash compensation range is $151,300.00 - $195,800.00.
