About the Role

This 10-week paid summer internship program immerses participants in the daily operations of a global financial services company, providing invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through business interactions, job assignments, and impactful projects. Interns will engage with senior leaders and build a professional network.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Compensation & Benefits related journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Assist in various Position Management functions including updating position status, reconciliations between systems, reporting, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Assist in preparations for various reports, work papers, provisions and reconciliations.
  • Work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization.
  • Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings.
  • Build a network of colleagues and have a sense of community with other interns and other parts of the business.
  • Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts, and other information.

Requirements

  • Must be a current junior with a graduation date of May 2028.
  • Must be available for the full program dates (May 27, 2027 - August 6, 2027).
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • F-1 visa holders with OPT requiring H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered.
  • H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
  • An interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk and a willingness to learn about different functions and career paths across the organization.
  • A high level of comfort with finance and accounting principles.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
