About the Role
This role supports the HR Generalist team in providing comprehensive HR support to all business areas through the 'AskHR' helpdesk, acting as the first point of contact for daily HR inquiries and offering general advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Classify and assign HR queries and requests.
- Provide administrative assistance to HR Business Partners and the wider HR team to support the employee lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records on HR.Net.
- Coordinate weekly new joiner inductions, ensuring a smooth experience by liaising with Recruitment, Office Operations, and IT Training.
- Manage the onboarding process for new joiners, including pre-employment checks with the external referencing provider.
- Handle end-to-end Parental Leave processes for all employees.
- Assist with Employee Relations issues, such as disciplinary and redundancy meetings, by taking accurate notes.
- Coordinate monthly payroll submissions, ensuring data accuracy and approvals before payroll cut-off.
- Monitor frequent sickness absence and escalate to HR Business Partners as needed.
- Conduct ad-hoc New Joiner Chats and Exit Interviews, providing feedback to HR Business Partners.
- Generate and upload the weekly Joiners, Movers, and Leavers report to the Firm's Intranet.
- Coordinate the bi-annual General Trainee Induction, including speaker arrangements, material preparation, and feedback collation.
- Support the Annual Performance, Salary, and Bonus Review process through meeting attendance, data checking, and letter production.
- Assist with the annual renewal of SRA Practicing Certificates for eligible legal professionals globally.

- Previous HR experience is desirable.
