About the Role
Support multiple Ledcor groups in the pursuit of major infrastructure and P3 projects by acting as an internal subject matter specialist in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities. Drive business decisions through research and analysis, deliver complex financial models, and manage financing arrangements. Lead existing equity investments and support financial modeling for Treasury/Corporate Finance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute complex financial models for valuation analyses of investment and new bid/contract opportunities.
- Interpret complex financial models and recommend solutions through analysis to support equity investment propositions.
- Act as an active member on project management and commercial/finance working teams for major infrastructure and P3 project pursuits.
- Advise business leaders on new and existing investment opportunities.
- Participate in working groups during procurement, including preparing requests for qualifications, proposals, and bid documents, and supporting the financial close process.
- Conduct research and due diligence into the Public-Private-Partnership (P3) market and related opportunities, providing competitive intelligence.
- Create and maintain financial reporting, presentations, and pipeline tracking for business leaders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a structured transactional environment in investment banking (corporate finance, project finance, transaction advisory, etc.).
- Experience interpreting and developing complex financial models.
- Experience transacting on infrastructure or P3 projects (bid or disposal context) is an asset.
- Asset management experience preferred.
- Mature understanding of equity investment and project financing principles.
- Strong communication skills: proven ability to influence and persuade others.
- Collaborative and innovative team player with experience coordinating complex teams and managing tight deadlines.
