About the Role

Apollo Capital Solutions (ACS) is building the foundational infrastructure for the private credit market. We are seeking a senior leader to own the next phase of this buildout, focusing on institutional trading infrastructure for private assets. This business-building role involves commercializing the platform and assessing developments in tokenization and prime-brokerage models.

Responsibilities

  • Develop transfer and settlement solutions for private credit, moving towards automated, near-real-time transfer with authoritative digital records.
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of private credit assets, removing friction from origination through secondary transfer and servicing.
  • Extend custody and collateral mechanics to both traditional and tokenized private assets.
  • Advance settlement models, including delivery versus payment, to reduce counterparty and operational risk.
  • Lead Apollo's market structure strategy for private credit infrastructure, including data standardization, index development, secondary trading, and digital transfer/settlement.
  • Ensure seamless data integration throughout the asset lifecycle, connecting with external and internal systems.
  • Develop pricing transparency, liquidity access, execution, and venue connectivity for efficient private asset transactions.
  • Assess and shape Apollo's approach to tokenization and prime-brokerage models.
  • Interface with market participants and counterparties to drive adoption of new technologies and platforms.
  • Own the commercial model and P&L for market structure and platform initiatives.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in private credit, leveraged finance, or structured credit, with investment/trading and/or operational/infrastructure experience.
  • Proven track record of building new business lines, platforms, or operational capabilities from inception.
  • Strong commercial instinct across business models, incentive structures, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Comfort owning a P&L and managing the transition from investment to revenue generation.
  • Deep understanding of private credit operational mechanics, including assignment agreements, settlement workflows, agent processes, and the full lifecycle.
  • Experience with institutional electronic trading and its counterparties (market makers, exchanges, custodians, prime brokers).
  • Experience with market structure or infrastructure buildouts in adjacent asset classes (syndicated loans, CLOs, ABS).
  • Familiarity with LSTA protocols, ClearPar, or LXID/CUSIP infrastructure is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital asset market structure (custody, tokenization, on-chain settlement, prime brokerage) is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with data-licensing business models is a strong plus.
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, high execution discipline, and comfort operating with significant ambiguity.
