About the Role
Morgan Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Service Technician for Hilton Village, a 234-unit apartment community in Hilton, NY. This role is for individuals who are hands-on, enjoy problem-solving, and are dedicated to resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Handle resident service requests promptly and professionally
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems
- Complete quality make-ready work to ensure apartment homes are move-in ready
- Maintain grounds and common areas to be safe, clean, and presentable
- Collaborate with teammates to enhance the resident experience
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Assist with snow removal and weather-related emergencies as needed
Requirements
- Previous apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate issues when necessary
- Accountability for work from start to finish
- Honest and professional communication with residents, vendors, and teammates
- Willingness to be part of a supportive team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability to participate in the on-call rotation
