About the Role
Financial Technology Partners is seeking Summer Investment Banking Associates for an 8-week program beginning in June 2027. Associates will be involved in all aspects of transactions, from origination to closing, including financial modeling, valuation, research, and client presentations.
Responsibilities
- Extensive financial modeling and analysis
- Company valuation
- Corporate and industry research
- Strategic analysis and recommendations
- Identification of business development opportunities
- Due diligence
- Preparation of client presentation materials
- Identification of potential corporate and financial sponsors, buyers, and investors
- Work closely with senior investment bankers
- Manage day-to-day deal activities
- Oversee and mentor Analysts
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a top-tier business school, graduating by summer of 2028
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5
- Proven capability to lead and manage projects effectively
- Exceptional organizational, execution, and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels
- Excellent presentation skills, adaptable to both large and small group settings
- Strategic thinker with robust analytical capabilities
- Proven quantitative and technical expertise
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Entrepreneurial mindset, ready to tackle complex tasks and challenges
- Demonstrates ability to effectively integrate AI-powered tools into daily workflows to increase efficiency and maximize outputs
- Strong work ethic, self-discipline, and motivation
- U.S. work authorization required at the time of application
